On October 1, 2018, a dedication ceremony and symposium for the new Klarman Hall marked its official opening with remarks from Dean Nitin Nohria, Harvard President Lawrence S. Bacow, Governor Charlie Baker, and donors Beth and Seth Klarman. Klarman Hall, a unique new convening space on campus, will enable unprecedented large-scale conferences, first-rate musical and artistic performances, and intimate and engaged discussion. Beth Klarman is president of the Klarman Family Foundation and Seth Klarman (MBA 1982) is CEO and portfolio manager of the Baupost Group, LLC in Boston.
