Ever since he was little, Philippe Jans (MBA, 2010) dreamt of becoming an engineer. As professional freedom is very important to Philippe, he quickly decided to start his own company. So, in 2011 he founded Biolectric that produces biogas as a new source of energy for farms. Vlerick Business School helped Philippe in his transition from solely being a technical engineer towards being an entrepreneur with a technical background. Thanks to the specific format / nature of the Executive MBA programme, he enjoyed the opportunity to combine studying and working.
